While the sun may still be shining where you are reading, at 6:30PM it has set and the darkness has settled in for the night.
It was another fun-filled day with many activities!
Remember the wall building from yesterday?
See what happened today!
Where things began today (this is facing the front of the church).
Brick throwing is involved in wall building.
Catching is also highly encouraged.
Bricks have been broken as well, but we won't talk about that.
Amazing wall building team.
As Nehemiah and the people rebuilt the wall, they encountered intense opposition to the work from their enemies. There was a call to keep on working and to strengthen one another.
As we are here, you are standing with us in prayer in fighting off the attacks of the enemy.
(Half-way through today)
Nehemiah 4:15 - When our enemies heard that it was known to us and that God had frustrated their plan, we all returned to the wall, each to his own work. From that day on, half of my servants worked on construction and half held the spears, shields, bows, and coats.."
You are our half - standing behind us, alongside us, keeping alert!
THANK YOU!
And look how much work was done throughout today.
All glory to God!
This sweet lady on the left, Digna, has been such an amazing hostess for us!
Her home is next door to the church and she has helped with the food for us each day, making sure we have the supplies from the church, and being available for anything we need!
An amazing sister in Jesus!
Volleyball is a fun game the kiddos like to play, so we join in with them!
Such a joy to partner with Keila and Joy (local missionaries) to encourage and be a part of what they do here in Paraguay. What a joy to know this doesn't end on Thursday, because these families are committed to the long-term discipleship and building of the church here.
A little "Simon dice" (Simon says)
Sweet girls
They loved their Gospel bracelets
Music time - so fun!
Who doesn't love stickers???
Best bananas you will ever eat in your life!
Sergio agrees (he ate four or five throughout the day)
While volleyball is enjoyed, fubtol (soccer) is loved!
Legit goalie with gloves and all
Reviewing all we are learning about Jesus
It was a full, but sweet day! Please continue to pray for those who are hearing the Gospel and hope of Jesus for the first time. Pray also for those who know Jesus and for their growth in following Him.
A beautiful end to the day...
...And the start to a lovely night.
